Care Instructions
- Dry clean only. Organza and hand embroidery should not be machine washed or wrung.
- Steam lightly or iron on the lowest setting from the reverse side over a soft towel, so the embroidery is not flattened.
- Store folded loosely in a cotton cloth with tissue between the folds of the embroidered areas.
- Keep away from jewelry with sharp edges and from rough surfaces that can catch the threads.
Benefits
- Very light drape: The organza base is about 25 to 45 GSM, so the saree sits light and holds a crisp pleat.
- The embroidery shows on both layers: The sheer body lets the flowers on the pleats and the pallu show through each other when worn.
- An opaque blouse under a sheer saree: The blouse piece is in opaque silk, so the blouse itself is not see-through.
- Evening and reception wear: Pastel organza with embroidery is a popular choice for receptions, engagements and sangeet nights.
